Swimming is a healthy activity for people of all ages. Its a great workout, because you are moveing your whole body, without damaging your locomotor system.

It is a low-impact activity that has many physical and mental health benefits.

Swimming is a good all-round activity because it:

  • keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body

  • builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness

  • improves immunity system

And even at the non-professional level swimming improves your well-being and mood. Besides of health benefits swimming has many other benefits including:

  • being a relaxing and peaceful form of exercise

  • improving coordination, balance and posture

  • alleviating stress

  • improving the body shape

For these reasons, swimming is a great way to stay fit, get rid of stress and, of course, improv health.
